Didi Louzada

The New Orleans Pelicans are finalizing a multi-year deal with Brazilian guard Didi Louzada, league sources told ESPN on Sunday.

The Pelicans acquired the 6-foot-5 Louzada with the No. 35 pick in the 2019 NBA draft in the same draft-night deal that netted New Orleans center Jaxson Hayes and guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker.

Louzada has since been stashed with the Sydney Kings in Australia’s NBL as part of the league’s Next Stars program. He has packed on around 40 pounds to his frame since joining the Kings.
