As Zion Williamson and first-time All-Star Brandon Ingram emerged last season, the Pelicans still did not make the playoffs.

With a new head coach in place, the front office is looking to reshape the roster to win. It appears guard Jrue Holiday may not be part of their plans.

The Pelicans are “openly discussing” trade possibilities for Holiday with contending teams, reports The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The 30-year old Holiday averaged 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.7 assists last season.
