Edwards, who signed with Alabama over LSU and other Power Five programs, has been in the portal since June. He has yet to receive a carry or touch of the football on the college level.
The 6-foot, 209-pound Edwards rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored 16 touchdowns in 2019 as a senior to help the Wildcats reach the Class 5A title game.
