Reigning SLC Champion Lady Lions announce 2023-24 schedule
HAMMOND, La – The reigning Southland Conference champion Southeastern Louisiana University women’s basketball team faces a challenging 2023-24 nonconference schedule highlighted by a visit from the reigning national champion, before embarking on an 18-game conference slate in search of repeating as league champions.
Southeastern will play five of its first six games in the friendly confines of the Pride Roofing University Center. SLU, which finished 21-10 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history in 2022-23, opens up the 2023-24 schedule with an 11 a.m. contest versus Millsaps Nov. 6.

The contest will mark the first time since 2002-03 the Tigers have visited the Pride Roofing University Center.
SLU closes its home stand with Thanksgiving matinees versus Jackson State (Nov. 20, 2 p.m.) and Mobile (Nov. 25, 1 p.m.). The Lady Lions close out a busy November with road games at Wichita State (Nov. 28) and Kansas (Nov. 30).
Southeastern’s lone December home game is set for Dec. 15, as South Alabama visits Hammond for a 6 p.m. contest. The Lady Lions travel to Maui for a two-day tournament hosted by Oregon State Dec. 19-20 to cap their nonconference schedule.
