Regis Prograis set for WBC title fight against Jose Zepeda in November

New Orleans native Regis Prograis will return to action, fighting for a world championship when he takes on Jose Zepeda for the WBC Super Lightweight title.
The bout is scheduled for November 26 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, just outside of Los Angeles. The facility was formerly known as the StubHub Center. It will be available for viewing via Pay-Per-View.
Prograis will train in his hometown, at the New Orleans Boxing Club, for the next two weeks.
Now 33, Prograis has a record of 27-1 with 23 knockouts. Prograis has won his last three bouts since losing by majority decision to Josh Taylor in late 2019 in a title bout.
Zepeda, also 33, is a native Californian who boasts a 35-2 record with 27 knockouts. Zepeda has won his last five bouts.
