Refuel to host K’s for Kids live Tuesday on Crescent City Sports

As the second week of play gets underway in the Crescent City Sports Prep Summer League, you can watch this week’s Game of the Week Tuesday evening when Archbishop Shaw-based Refuel entertains Brother Martin-based K’s for Kids at Winterscheidt Field.

The game will begin at 7 p.m., and it can be seen live and via replay, always free, on CrescentCitySports.com.

Ken Trahan will have the call of the game with David Baudry providing analysis.

Refuel (0-2) has lost a pair of close games, falling 4-2 to Northshore-based Peck’s Seafood and losing 8-7 to Lakeshore. Refuel is in action this evening against Belle Chasse-based Terry’s Oysters.

Jack Mahler and D.J. Miller are both batting .500 for Refuel. Miller has driven in a pair of runs while Cameron Bolden has knocked in three runs for Refuel.

K’s for Kids (3-0) has beaten Lakeshore 17-6, Jesuit-based Retif Oil 5-2 and Belle Chasse-based Terry’s Oysters 6-2.

Ryan Darrah is batting .500 with two RBI, Kolby Hunter and Austin Belle are each hitting .428 with three RBI and Reece Roussel has driven in four runs for K’s for Kids in Summer League play.
