Recruiting: Tulane targets emerging for 2019 football class

The Tulane Green Wave football program is starting to close in on a few 2019 recruiting targets. Here are some names to watch:

-QB Jha’Quan Jackson (5-10, 175) Hahnville
He has been a target for a number of good FBS programs. SMU has made an impression and become his current leader but Jackson has expressed interest in Tulane. He is being looked at as a wide receiver as well thanks to his 4.35 speed. West Virginia likes him a lot along with ULL, ULM, Louisiana Tech, Kentucky, South Alabama, North Texas, Southern Miss, Nicholls State, Houston and Western Kentucky.

-WR Ke’Andre Street (6-3, 195) Tyler, Texas
He grabbed 36 passes for 873 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. Houston is the perceived favorite for the 3 star recruit along with Tulane, Boston College, Southern Miss and Syracuse are all hoping to secure a commit.

-OT Brevyn Jones (6-4, 260) Birmingham, Alabama
This 3 star talent does like Tulane but also considering offers from Alabama State, UAB, Western Carolina, Appalachian State, Cornell, Central Michigan, Texas State, ULL, Tennessee Tech, Eastern Kentucky and Jackson State.

-CB Austin Jones (5’9-160) McDonogh 35
He has offers from Tulane, Toledo and Indiana.

-RB Gerron Duhon (5’10-170) Washington-Marion HS
He is another 3 star drawing offers from UTSA, Tulane, Grambling and McNeese State.

-OG Jax Harrington (6-4, 280) Erath
ULL, La. Tech, Tulane, Rice, South Alabama, ULM, New Mexico State, Western Kentucky, Southern Miss and Texas State are suitors.

-DB B.J. Lockhart (5-8 180) Walker HS
He is pondering offers from Tulane, Memphis, La. Tech and Jacksonville State.

OLB Tyler Guidry (6-2, 225) Southern Lab
A pass rusher who can play in space, he has been targeted by Tulane, Arkansas State, ULM, Rice, Western Kentucky, Alcorn, McNeese and Jackson State.

RB Charvis Thornton (5-10, 180) University Lab
Arkansas may have the edge, but Colorado, Kansas, Arkansas State, Tulane, South Alabama, Oregon State, Memphis, Nicholls and Texas State are hoping to secure him.

QB Travis Mumphrey (6-0, 186) John Ehret
The 3 star prospect is being sought after by Tulane, Ga. Tech, Arkansas State, Arizona, Grambling, Indiana, Southern Miss, ULM, South Alabama, New Mexico, Tennessee and Troy.

OLB Tatum Bethune (6-0, 215) Miami, Fla.
He is looking over offers from Auburn, Appalachian State, Tulane, UAB, UNLV and Boston College.

DT Deshon Hall (6-2, 250) East Ascension
This 3 star disruptive force has offers from Colorado State, La. Tech, ULM, Tulane, South Alabama, Nicholls, Southern Miss, UAB, Texas State and McNeese.
