The benefits of the success Tulane has enjoyed on the field were perhaps best illustrated Saturday.

Not only did the Green Wave gain their 15th pledge for the upcoming signing class, but the new commitment is considered the best rep offensive lineman in greater St. Louis, Missouri for 2020. The reach of the program’s recruiting efforts for such talent is impressive.

Hutson Lillibridge from De Smet Jesuit verbally committed to Tulane over offers from Illinois, Indiana, Kent State,Georgetown, Central Michigan, South Dakota, Louisville, Ohio, Western Michigan, UT Martin, Indiana State and Western Illinois. He received a lot of interest from Les Miles’ staff at Kansas as well as Vanderbilt.

Experienced at left guard while also seeing reps at tackle, Lillibridge is extremely intelligent, holding a 4.51 GPA and 27 ACT score. He does not repeat the same mistake, processes very quickly, plays snap to whistle, drives opponents backwards with good feet, plays with terrific balance and finishes blocks.

The a 6-foot-3, 303 pounder has very technique sound. He has worked very hard this past offseason to improve his quickness and flexibility. His father Marc played linbacker for Iowa State and reached the NFL.
