Tulane received a visit from 3 star wide receiver Tyrek Presley this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 192 pounder out of Riverdale, Georgia has offers from Ball State, Tulane, Georgia Southern, Bowling Green, South Alabama, Eastern Michigan, Kansas, Mercer, Western Carolina and Southern Illinois in the mix.

Tulane and South Alabama appear to be the frontrunners.

Presley is very athletic and able to get off of press coverage to find immediate separation. He is not afraid to run crossing routes and high points ball with a good vertical (34″).

Former Northlake Christian defensive end Caleb Sampson decided to commit to Western Kentucky. His college path began with a pledge to Tulane for the ’17 class before he flipped to Missouri. Simpson then headed to Coahoma Community College where he has spent the past two seasons.

Simpson (6-4, 280) will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. He chose the Hilltoppers over offers from UTEP, Texas State, Old Dominion, Nicholls, South Alabama, UTSA, Houston and Arkansas-Monticello.
