The son of one of the NFL’s all-time best pass rushers is headed to LSU next year.

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) three-star tight end Mason Taylor picked the Tigers on Thursday over Alabama, Florida, Texas A&M and West Virginia.

Joining Jake Johnson as 2022 class tight end commitments for LSU, Taylor caught six passes for 133 yards in a season shortened due to injury at Florida Class 7A champion St. Thomas Aquinas.

His father Jason Taylor is a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee with 139.5 sacks in the NFL.
