Tulane bagged a commitment Wednesday from interior offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth for their 2019 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-2, 298 pounder considered offers from Army, Arkansas State, Texas State, North Texas, Houston Baptist, Navy and Louisiana Tech.

Haynesworth, a product of Pearland High School (Texas) received an offer from the Green Wave on May 21. He represents Tulane’s fifth commitment for ’19.

With impressive lower body strength, Haynesworth is good on reach blocks and plays with balance. The center and guard prospect plays snap to whistle, gets to the second level and locks onto opponent. He pulls from the guard spot and leads the play.

Haynesworth also threw the 12-pound shot put a distance of 36’10”.
