Recruiting: Texas A&M’s Yulkeith Brown to Tulane, DeColdest Crawford to LA Tech, LSU’s Damarcus McGhee to Kansas

Two Louisiana schools welcomed new players while another officially said goodbye to one.

Yulkeith Brown, a Former four-star 2021 signee at Texas A&M, has transferred to Tulane.

The 5-10, 174 pounder with 11.04 speed in the 100-meters is a weapon at the slot. He grabbed six passes for 112 yards and a score this past season for the Aggies. Brown missed one game with injury and the final five contests for undisclosed reasons. He is the 20th A&M player to enter the portal this year.

Dangerous after the catch, Brown shows great instincts and tracks balls very well. He lined up as a wideout and cornerback in high school and excelled as a return specialist. The Miami native had a 66-yard catch against Sam Houston this season and a 45-yard end around run against Prairie View.

Former Green Oaks (Shreveport) star DeColdest Crawford is coming home to the Boot. After spending the 2022 season at Nebraska, he is transferring to Louisiana Tech.

The 6-1, 178-pound former LSU commitment fampusly signed an NIL with an Air Conditioning company in Nebraska.

Despite a coaching change, Nebraska had hopes that he he would return. An interesting note is he will return to Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2023 season when Louisiana Tech travels to play the Cornhuskers.

Former LSU four-star cornerbacl Damarcus McGhee is headed to Kansas. The 6-1, 170-pound native of Pensacola, Fla. has three college seasons remaining. He appeared in one game this season.
