The rise of the St. Augustine baseball program is obvious.

The Purple Knights won a playoff series for the first time a year ago and they are currently 9-5 this season heading into their game with Carver this evening at 6 p.m.

Al Robinson has done an excellent job, with several of his players committing to play at the next level over the past year.

The latest to join that list is outfielder/infielder Jordan Vidato, who has committed to play at Panola College in Carthage, TX.

Vidato (5-11, 160) has a 3.4 GPA and scored a 22 on the ACT.

“Jordan is a hard worker, a good student and very solid player for us,” Robinson said. “He will be a great asset to Panola College.”
