Recruiting: Rummel’s Jordon Williams commits to South Alabama
Archbishop Rummel’s Jordon Williams committed to play his college football at South Alabama.
The 6-foot-2, 235 pounder had offers from Houston Baptist, Nicholls, McNeese, Mercer, Youngstown State, Navy, Southern Miss, Austin Peay, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville State, Navy, Tennessee Tech and Northwestern State.
As an edge rusher, Williams possesses skills to pressure the passer, uses his hands very well and disengages from blockers quickly. He can line up in both a two- or three-point stance.
With his pledge, the Sun Belt’s Jaguars now have 10 commitments for 2020.
