Recruiting: Rummel QB Kyle Wickersham commits to Richmond
Finally healthy, Rummel quarterback Kyle Wickersham showed what he was capable of doing in 2019.
Now, he is receiving his just reward.
Wickersham has verbally committed to Richmond.

Wickersham is the second Raider slated to head to the Spiders this decade. Former Rummel tackler Patrick Kliebert signed with Richmond in 2013 and played there in his four-year career.
Wickersham, an excellent student, had offers from Air Force, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Fordham, Georgetown, Harvard, Idaho State, McNeese, Nicholls, Pennsylvania, Princeton, San Diego, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Illinois, UT Martin and Tusculum.
After being injured for two years, Wickersham transferred from Jesuit to Rummel and in his junior season, Wickersham guided the Raiders to unbeaten 13-0 season and the Division I state championship.
In 2019, Wickersham completed 137-of-231 passes for 1,691 yards and 17 touchdowns with six interceptions and he rushed 71 times for 199 yards and four touchdowns.
Wickersham is the son of former LSU quarterback Jeff Wickersham.
