Recruiting: Rummel defensive back Donovan Kaufman commits to Vanderbilt
Another defensive player from the New Orleans area will be playing college football in the SEC.
Archbishop Rummel defensive back Donovan Kaufman has committed to Vanderbilt. Kaufman (5-9, 195) made the announcement via Twitter Tuesday evening.

In 2018, Kaufman played a key role in the Raiders reaching the Division I semifinals. Kaufman recorded seven sacks, had two interceptions, recovered two fumbles and scored a pair of touchdowns for the Raiders a year ago.
A safety, Kaufman had offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Army, Boston College and Colorado, Houston Baptist, Liberty, Memphis, Nicholls, Northwestern State, South Alabama, Southern, Southern Miss, Troy, Tulane and UAB and ULM.
