Kyren Lacy

The latest LSU transfer does not have to move very far.

Former ULL wide receiver committed to LSU over Auburn, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and others Friday.

The Thibodaux High product played two seasons in Lafayette, tallying 50 receptions for 668 yards and 10 touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 212 pounder is highly regarded as a runner after the catch who can also win balls in the air. Lacy is also a fine blocker.

In the prep ranks, Lacy was a dominant senior pass catcher with 54 receptions for 864 yards along with 18 touchdowns. In basketball, he held offers from numerous Division I programs including Houston, Miami and Virginia after leading the Tigers to a state title.

Lacy is the second Ragin’ Cajuns player to transfer to LSU this offseason, joining cornerback Mekhi Garner.
