The LSU Tigers gained their 11th pledge of the 2020 football recruiting season and the second from a busy weekend.

Defensive end Alec Bryant out of Shadow Creek High in Pearland, Texas made an impression on his visit this past weekend for LSU Junior day. In turn, he felt like Tiger Stadium was a good fit and committed.

Bryant has offers from Oklahoma, Arizona, Utah State, Oklahoma State, Kansas, TCU, Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan State, Kansas State, Va. Tech, Vandy, Oregon, Texas Tech, Nebraska and SMU. LSU assistants Dennis Johnson and Dave Aranda have handled his recruitment for the Tigers.

Quick off the ball, the 4 star Bryant bends the edge well and sets up his opponent while using his hands. He is a relentless pass rusher who earned all-state honors in 2018 after collecting 53 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 16 sacks.

Los Angeles area defensive tackle Jordan Berry committed to the Tigers during the weekend as well.
