Jarrick Bernard-Converse

LSU continues to impressively dip into the transfer portal to re-stock their roster for 2022.

Former Evangel Christian cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse brings an impressive college resume’ to Baton Rouge from Oklahoma State. He is a grad transfer with an eye towards a career in veterinary medicine.

Capable of playing either safety or corner, Bernard-Converse was twice selected as Big 12 All Academic.

The 6-foot-2, 201 pounder has spent the previous four seasons in Stillwater where he started 47 contests for the Cowboys. He compiled 196 career stops, 24 passes defended, two interceptions and four sacks. That includes 51 tackles this past season with nine of them during a crucial 37-33 win over rival Oklahoma to make it to the conference title game.

It is likely Bernard-Converse finds a place in LSU’s starting lineup as a boundary corner.
