Recruiting: Newman WR Jarmone Sutherland commits to Dartmouth
Newman wide receiver Jarmone Sutherland has committed to Dartmouth, forgoing offers from Tulane,Air Force, UNLV, UAB, Navy, Northwestern State, Princeton, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Furman, Georgetown, William and Mary and Richmond.

The two-star prospect has developed into a complete receiver, running precise routes, displaying sure hands, making catches in a crowd, displaying explosiveness, creating separation and showing out as a fierce blocker.
Sutherland recorded 75 catches for 1,353 yards with 24 touchdowns as a junior. In 2019 , the Class 2A All-State performer followed up with 70 grabs for 1,110 yards and 19 touchdowns despite drawing double coverage much of the time. The 5-11, 175 pounder became a starter midway through his freshman campaign for the Greenies.
Darthmouth is coached by former Tulane head coach Buddy Teevens.
