Elias Ricks
LSU coach Ed Orgeron discovered may have had his biggest Christmas present not under his tree today.

Elias Ricks, the top ranked cornerback in the 2020 class and fourth overall prospect, pledged to the Tigers with a Twitter post on Christmas day.

The Mater Dei (Cali.) standout was hotly pursued by USC, Alabama, Florida, Fla. State, Ole Miss, Georgia, Washington, Utah, UCLA, Texas, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, California, Boise State, Colorado, Nebraska, Michigan, Auburn and Arizona. It’s still a long ways off until the ’20 signing date, but LSU so far has five quality commitments including the 5 star Ricks plus eight 4 stars.

The 6-foot-2, 180 pound Ricks demonstrates tremendous breaking ability on the ball in the air with the talent to jump routes and make plays. He has Spider Man-like talent on the corner, showing superb change of direction and explosion out of his breaks.

Ricks had three interceptions returned for touchdowns this season during the month of November alone.
