Recruiting: Mississippi prep lineman Trey Tuggle commits to Tulane
The Tulane football recruiting class for 2020 is growing in small increments, but the number has reached 18 total pledges.
Offensive tackle Trey Tuggle out of Mize, Mississippi chose the Green Wave over offers from ULM, Florida Atlantic, Vandy, Tennessee, South Florida, UAB, Middle Tennessee, UTSA, Samford, Indiana, Miss. State, Arkansas State, Air Force, South Alabama, Southern Miss and Tennessee-Martin.

Tuggle is the 47th-rankedt overall prospect in Mississippi and the state’s fourth best in this year’s class.
The 6’5 1/2, 315 pounder has played snaps a defensive tackle, but his future is on the offensive side of the ball. He lines up at left tackle, where he has shown he can pull and lead the play on sweeps. Tuggle moves well for someone his size, maintaining his blocks and keeping his feet.
Tuggle represents the third offensive lineman in this year’s Tulane class.
