As Tulane prepares for a short week and an crucial early season matchup with conference foe Houston on Thursday night at Yulman Stadium, prospects nationwide continue to like where the Green Wave program is headed.

Reggie Neely, a three-star cornerback out of Memphis, became Tulane’s 23rd commitment for the 2020 class. He picked the Wave over an offer from hometown Memphis, who came after him hard. Also, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Southern Miss, Duke, UAB and Western Kentucky coveted the 6-foot-1, 175 pounder.

Neely possesses good speed (4.53 forty), excellent length, good hips for the position and solid ball skills. He is explosive with a 36-inch vertical.

Tulane now have 23 commitments for the 2002 recruiting cycle.
