The Ragin Cajuns added another football commitment for the ’19 class from an in-state talent.

McDonogh 35 safety Jaden Henderson decided to give his verbal to UL Lafayette. He considered offers from Louisiana Tech, ULM, Troy, Toledo, Texas State, Indiana and South Alabama.

From his safety spot, the 6-foot, 190 pounder is comfortable lining up deep in the secondary or in the box near the line of scrimmage. He runs the alley and is a vicious downhill tackler. Very athletic, Henderson closes to the ball in a flash shows good feel as to where the play is going.

Henderson has been somewhat flying under the radar, but the Cajuns staff feel like they may have a steal.

ULL has seven commitments for 2019 with four coming from within the border of the Pelican state.
