Mandeville High School wide receiver Landon Ibieta committed Sunday to the University of Miami

The fourth pledge of the 2022 class for the Hurricanes made his move after visiting the Miami campus this weekend.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Ibieta considered offers from Virginia, Tulane, Memphis, New Mexico, Kansas, South Alabama, Louisiana Tech, ULM and Southern Miss.

Both a crafty receiver and precise route runner, Ibieta can also be physical. He flashes velcro-like hands and threans on Jet sweeps.

Ibieta recorded five catches for 367 yards and three touchdowns in a single game against Hannan last season.
