The LSU recruiting efforts continue to pay dividends for the 2020 class, as they work coast to coast seeking the best.

This weekend, wide receiver Jermaine Burton became the second Tiger pledge in the past couple of days. The 6-foot-1, 193 pounder whittled his list to LSU, Alabama, UCLA, Miami and Georgia. He also had offers from South Carolina, Florida, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Louisville, Miss. State, USC, Tennessee, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Oregon.

Burton is the 12th LSU commitment for their upcoming class. He snared 40 passes for 863 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. Assistant Bill Busch was responsible for his recruitment.

The Calabasas, California product is a physical presence who overpowers defensive backs. He takes pride in blocking and brings an attitude to the field which drives him to excel and is a tireless worker. He has a vice-grip on balls thrown his way. His current skills remind me of former LSU and NFL wideout Dwayne Bowe at the same stage.
