Recruiting: LSU garners commitment from 2020 prospect Kris Abrams-Draine

LSU continues to be on a hot streak on the recruiting trails, bagging a pair of pledges for the ’19 class earlier this week and then adding a highly regarded prospect for the 2020 class Wednesday.

Kris Abrams-Draine, the 5-foot-11, 165 pound sparkplug who tallied 19 total touchdowns this past season on offense, committed to the Tigers for the 2020 class. The Spanish Fort High (Ala.) also has offers from also has offers from Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee among other FBS programs.

Abrams-Draine scored 11 touchdowns as a wide receiver among his 55 grabs for over 900 yards. He is a very versatile performer, doubling as a lockdown cover corner where he pilfered six passes while taking four back to the house.

It appears the Tigers’ staff has him penciled in Abrams-Draine to be a wide out when he arrives on campus. He is a playmaker with the ball in his hands, possessing breakaway speed and a high football IQ

Abrams-Draine doubles as a superb point guard on the hardwood, averaging 15 points per game as a sophomore varsity performer.
