Recruiting: Landry-Walker WR Cyrus Allen commits to Louisiana Tech
Landry Walker wide receiver Cyrus “Ceedee” Allen committed Friday to Louisiana Tech.
Oregon State, Hawaii, ULM, McNeese, UTSA, Arkansas State, New Mexico, Nicholls, Texas State, SLU and Grambling also offered Allen. Tech now has eight commits in their 2021 class including Edna Karr offensive tackle Kenneth Bannister.
Allen was limited to four games in ’19 but managed to snare 25 passes for 458 yards and an eye-opening nine touchdowns.
As an ‘X’ receiver, the 6-foot-1, 180 pounder displays top ball skills and gets off the line of scrimmage quickly. Allen adjusts to throws well and comes down with most 50/50 balls. He also runs the 2X200 relays for Landry-Walker.
