Ju'Juan Johnson

Ju’Juan Johnson, considered among the top athletes in Louisiana’s 2024 football recruiting class, has committed to LSU.

The announcement came Monday night on the Jordy Culotta Show.

The Lafayette Christian standout had previously pledged Feb. 4 to Colorado but re-opened the recruiting process April 23. He canceled all other planned visits. LSU offered June 6, 2022.

The 5-foot-11, 178 pounder played quarterback last season, throwing for 3,976 yards and 43 touchdowns while running for an additional 1,284 yards and 17 scores. He is projected to play in the secondary in college.

With 4.5 speed, Johnson displays quick reflexes, great balance and ability to quickly flip his hips to run with receivers. Very instinctive, he is able to shadow receivers during his route.

With Johnson’s pledge, LSU now has half of the top 10 ranked players in the state for 2024 committed and are heavy favorites for three others.
