Recruiting: John Curtis guard Jerkalia Jordan commits to Tulane women’s basketball

The top ranked Louisiana high school girls basketball player in the Class of 2020 has decided to stay at home for college.

John Curtis guard Jerkaila Jordan has verbally committed to play at Tulane. She announced her commitment on Twitter on Monday afternoon.

As a junior, the 5-foot-9 Jordan averaged 17 points, 4.2 rebounds, three assists and two steals per game. She is ranked by ESPN as the 50th best player nationally in the 2020 class. Jordan has led the Lady Patriots to three consecutive state championships, winning MVP honors in Division I in each of those title game appearances.
