One of the top defensive backs from the New Orleans area for the 2020 recruiting class is apparently headed to Conference USA for his college days.

Helen Cox’s Rae’Kwon Starks has decided that he wants to continue his college football career at UTSA. He held offers from Tulane, ULL, ULM, La. Tech, Houston and UAB. I had him ranked as the 4th overall defensive back in the Metro area in this class.

Starks is a good open field tackler who runs the alley from his safety spot, diagnoses quickly and excels as a kick returner. He has reportedly run a 10.85 hundred meters. Starks is capable of lining up at either CB or safety.

The 5-foot-10, 175 pounder is a 3 star rated prospect who becomes the third 2020 commitment for head coach Frank Wilson and the UTSA Roadrunners.
