Recruiting: Hahnville DT Adonis Friloux commits to Houston

Hahnville defensive tackle Adonis Friloux committed Wednesday to the University of Houston.

Friloux considered offers from Colorado State, ULM, ULL, Tulane, Toledo, Troy, South Alabama, Memphis, Nicholls, SLU and UNLV.

The 6-foot-1, 268 pounder has quick hands and explosiveness out of his stance. He tallied 107 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks last season. Friloux bench presses 335 pounds and squats 550.

The Cougars now claim five pledges for the 2020 class, including 3 star wide receiver Reginald Johnson from Southern Lab.
