The 6-foot, 175-pound Ferguson chose what his mother previously referred to as his dream school over offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan State, South Carolina and Tennessee along with many other FBS programs.
The consensus four-star talent professed his confidence in LSU head coach Brian Kelly and his future position coach Robert Steeples in an interview with On3 after he made his verbal public.
Ferguson’s school, Grayson High, is evolving into a bit of a pipeline to LSU. Other current football commitments to the Tigers from Grayson are 2023 safet Michael Daugherty and 2024 athlete Joseph Stone.
