Former LSU and Archbishop Rummel wide receiver Koy Moore has decided to transfer to Auburn.

His decision came after he wrapped up his visit this week at Auburn.

The 6-0, 190-pound Moore played as a true freshman at LSU in 2020, corralling 22 passes for 177 yards. His best day came in the season finale when he corralled six catches for 63 yards against Ole Miss.

Last season was quiet for Moore, who has just five catches for 71 total yards before opting for the transfer portal in October.

Moore earned four-star status as a prep recruit, accumulating 1,254 receiving yards on 93 grabs for the Rummel Raiders.

Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin made Moore a priority. His receiving corps has taken an overall hit this offseason, and Harsin needs bodies. In all, 17 players on last season’s Auburn roster have exited via the transfer portal.

Moore joins former Rummel teammate Donovan Kaufman, the defensive back who spent one season at Vanderbilt before he transferred to Auburn last offseason.
