Recruiting: Edna Karr WR Dany’e Brooks commits to Nicholls
Edna Karr wide receiver Dany’e “Savior” Brooks if often overlooked due to his receiver running mate Destyn Pazon, who receives major attention from opponents and recruiting analysts as a top national recruit for 2021.
Don’t undersell Brooks. He has tremendous upside.
The 5-foot-10, 170 pounder committed Thursday to the Nicholls Colonels.

As receiver who lines up at the X position for the Cougars, Brooks gets off the line of scrimmage quickly. He’s a long strider who gains good separation in his routes, maintains concentration and exhibits electric ability after the catch.
Brooks runs the 100 and 200 meters and relays in both distances for Karr’s track squad as well.
