Destrehan defensive end Noah Taliancich announced Monday that he is committed to Tulane for the 2020 class:

Formerly a commitment to Louisiana-Lafayette, Taliancich is the third Louisiana recruit in the 2020 class to give a pledge to the Green Wave, joining Country Day quarterback Justin Ibieta and Kentwood defensive back Cornelius Dyson. Taliancich called the offer from Tulane a dream come true for a lifelong fan.

The 6-foot-3, 257 pounder has seen his stock rise after posting 10 sacks in 2018. He also holds a 3.5 GPA.

Taliancich considered additional offers from Rice, ULM, La. Tech, Troy, Austin Peay, Nicholls, SLU, Northwestern State, Southern Miss, Harvard and South Alabama.

Versatile as a 3 tech or lined up wide at a 5 tech, Taliancich will chase down plays. He disengages quickly, plays the screen exceptionally well, uses his hands actively and shows great effort. As a defensive end, he can seal the edge. Taliancich learns and grows as a player, unlikely to make the same mistake.
