Recruiting: Defensive back Ahmaad Moses commits to Tulane

Tulane continues to reel in pledges for the 2022 recruiting class, scoring their second commit in as many days.

Ahmaad Moses, a three-star safety out of Arlington, Tex., gave his verbal pledge to the Green Wave over offers from Colorado, Utah, Memphis, Arkansas State, Colorado State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Utah State, Marshall, North Texas, UNLV and UTSA.

The ninth pledge in Tulane’s 2021 class so far visited the New Orleans campus June 4 after receiving an offer from the on February 22.

The 5-foot-10, 193 pounder runs a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash and a 11.2 hundred meters. He also participates in the 4 X 100, 4 X 200 and 4 X 400 relay teams at Mansfield Summit.

Moses earned All District honors in football last season after recording 107 tackles, 14 for losses, eight passes broken up and four interceptions (returning two to scores).

Comfortable playing free or strong safety, Moses is excellent tackler in space. He is an intriguing prospect who possesses good anticipation, outstanding ball skills while also possessing dangerous abilities as a punt returner.
