Another former Arizona commitment is looking to follow new LSU baseball coach Jay Johnson to Baton Rouge.

California prep left-handed pitcher Nic Bronzini announced his commitment Thursday to the Tigers in the Class of 2022.

The 6-foot-4, 245 pounder from San Ramon in NorCal is a projectable starter with potential to be selected high in the next MLB a fastball in the upper 80’s up to 91 with the build to add velocity. Bronzini also throws a very good curveball and a changeup in the low 80’s. His current command in working both sides of the plate is rather advanced.

Bronzini, a very good student, is the 18th pledge for next year’s signing class, Johnson’s first full group with the Tigers.
