Ben Miles, son of former LSU head coach Les Miles, originally inked with Nebraska in the ’17 signing class out of Catholic in Baton Rouge as a 3 star recruit.

With the arrival of new Cornhusker head coach Scott Frost, the Nebraska offense has been altered a bit, making the fullback position less involved in the plans. He has sought greener pastures and has enrolled at Texas A&M where he will be required to sit out the ’18 campaign. The 6-foot-1, 215 pounder will have three years remaining.

Following his prep career at Catholic, Miles considered offers from LSU, Boston College, Michigan State, UTSA, Purdue, Navy and Northwestern State. Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher’s offense had pro-style principles which utilize the fullback for more than blocking purposes.
