Recruiting: Baton Rouge native Noah Cain commits to Penn State
A one-time LSU recruiting target, running back Noah Cain, has committed to Penn State. Watching what the Nittany Lions did with Saquon Barkley helped influence his decision. The final two were Penn State and Texas, as he strongly considered both until the final moment.
Cain also had offers from LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Auburn, Georgia, Baylor, Arizona State, Arizona, Miami, Michigan, Clemson, Florida, Texas A&M and Florida State.
The 5-10, 208 pounder runs a 4.55 forty. He finished his prep career at IMG Academy, although he was born in Baton Rouge. Cain finished his prep career with 3,751 yards rushing and 45 touchdowns.
The 18th commitment for the Nittany Lions in 2019, Cain is a solid blocker and receiver. He runs behind his pads and breaks tackles.
