As if an unbeaten season to date was not enough to make Tiger fans excited, LSU’s 2020 recruiting class is overflowing with an abundance of highly rated prospects.

The Tigers added their third pledge within the past four days when B.J. Ojulari made hos plans known Sunday. The 6’2 1/2, 224 pounder from Marietta, Georgia was committed to Tennessee but changed direction. His high school teammate, tight end Arik Gilbert, committed to the Purple and Gold on Thursday. They visited LSU together on October 12.

Ojulari’s commitment gives LSU 24 verbals for the next signing class. I expect there will be some movement on the existing list to make room for others if needed.

Ojulari also had offers from Tennessee, Stanford, TCU, Kentucky, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Va. Tech, Syracuse, Ga. Tech, Michigan, Oklahoma and Ole Miss. He is the 17th rated player in the state of Georgia. Meatball Johnson and Dave Aranda collaborated on his recruitment for LSU.

The defensive end/outside linebacker prospect is very physical and manhandles blocker with strong hands. Ojulari is an excellent pass rusher off the edge and plays with lots of energy.
