Despite Tulane’s disappointing record in 2021, the future maybe bright as long as their recruiting successes continue.

Defensive tackle Jacob Holmes has committed to the Green Wave, rejecting interest from Arizona, West Virginia, Arizona State, Colorado State, Indiana, San Jose State, Fresno State, Oregon State, Utah State and San Diego State.

The Class of 2022 product of Chandler High School in Arizona received an offer from Tulane on October 6.

Holmes only played in three contests in 2020 after a transfer to the Wolves program, which may have hindered his exposure.

The 6-foot-3, 280 pounder can play inside or outside on the defensive line. He dead lifts 435 lbs. Holmes generates pressure from his spot, capable of beating double team blocks. He has a hot motor with a low center of gravity.
