LSU continues to lay bricks in the foundation of their 2024 recruiting class despite being over 20 months away from the 2024 signing period.

Joseph “Jo Jo” Stone from Loganville, Georgia pledged Monday to the Tigers.

Listed as an athlete, Stone picked LSU over offers from Georgia, Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Boston College, Florida, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Utah, Arizona, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, Pittsburgh and South Carolina.

Although we are still quite a ways from putting pen to paper, the pledge was still huge for LSU.

Wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton has led the recruiting effort for LSU.

Growing up in Georgia, Stone is still garners interest from the national champion Bulldogs. Clemson was a school that Stone dreamed about as a child.

The 6-foot, 180 pounder is considered one of the most exciting playmakers in the Peach state. Stone’s verbal gives LSU three commits for the ’24 class. He visited LSU on June 21 and an offer followed the very next day.

Stone has outstanding start and stop moves and is tough to corral in the open field. He seems to run smooth and effortlessly.
