Recruiting: 2023 Georgia prep athlete Geimere Latimer commits to Tulane

Geimere Latimer, a two-way athlete out of Sandy Creek High School in Georgia, committed this past weekend to Tulane for the 2023 football class.

The 5-foot-10, 175 pounder considered Tennessee Tech, Austin Peay, Georgia Southern, Marshall, Eastern Kentucky and Tulane.

Latimer has starred at quarterback in Tyrone, Georgia. He was tabbed the 2021 District 5-3A Player of the Year and the Class 3A All State quarterback after tossing for 2,792 yards and accounting for 42 total touchdowns.

Explosive cuts in the open field and strong in the lower body, he squats 405 pounds. Latimer is a fine student-athlete who holds a 3.3 GPA.

Latimer could line up at either wide receiver or cornerback for the Green Wave.
