Recruiting: 2022 defensive tackle Isaiah Boyd commits to Tulane

Tulane ventured up to Haverford, Pennsylvania to secure a commitment from defensive tackle Isaiah Boyd for the 2022 class.

The 6-foot-3, 265-pound Boyd represents the 12th verbal in the cycle for the Green Wave.

Tulane offered the three-star recruit on July 22nd. Boyd also had offers from Air Force, Army, Central Michigan, Columbia, Harvard, Howard, Lafayette, Lehigh, Marshall, Massachusetts, Navy, Old Dominion, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Wake Forest and Yale.

Boyd plays on both sides of the ball as an end and offensive tackle. A blue collar worker, he uses his hands very well on defense. He diagnoses plays and disposes blockers quickly. As a right tackle for the Haverford School, Boyd is a drive blocker who plays with balance and a good base.
