There were no surprises at the weigh-in for Regis Prograis and Juan Jose Velasco ahead of their 12-round, 140-pound title fight Saturday night at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

Prograis, the area native set to defend his WBC interim super lightweight title, weighed in at 139.5 pounds while Velasco came in at 140.

The 29-year old Prograis (21-0, 18 KOs) is a decisive favorite to defend his title for the first time against the 31-year old Velasco (20-0, 12 KOs) in the main event of ESPN’s Top Rank broadcast.

Also on the line for both fighters is a spot in the winner of the World Boxing Super Series 140-pound tournament slated for later this year.

The undercard on the Lakefront starts at 3:30 p.m. before ESPN’s broadcast coverage starts at 6 p.m. Saturday.
