Swimmer Catherine Wellborn of Cabrini signed Monday with the University of the Ozarks, an NCAA Division III program in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Wellborn has been a regular participant at the state meet for Cabrini for the last four years in both individual and relay events as the Crescents have consistently posted top 10 finishes in their division.
As a senior, Wellborn participated in four events – three relays and the 100-yard butterfly – at the state meet in helping the Crescents to a fourth-place finish in Division III. In 2016, she was part of a record-setting state championship relay team as Cabrini finished fifth in Division II.
The University of the Ozarks competes in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in swimming.
