PHOTO: LSU helmets feature large protective face shield
The LSU football equipment department has adopted helmet changes to help protect players from the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The modified helmet with a large shield protecting nose and mouth was revealed in a tweet Friday:

The Tigers will open their modified 10-game schedule against only SEC teams Sept. 26.
