The Saints decided to rebuild their special teams coaching staff this offseason. Now the team has two new coaches for that unit.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Penn State assistant Phil Galiano is coming to New Orleand to serve as assistant special teams coach under new coordinator Darren Rizzi.

Galiano served as Penn state special teams coordinator last season.

The new coaches for the Saints come to the staff after the organization chose to cut loose special teams coaches Mike Westhoff, Bradford Banta and Kevin O’Dea.
