The Pelicans will sign another member of their Summer League squad to a two-way contract.
Former Point Loma Nazarene forward Daulton Hommes will join former Georgia Tech point guard Jose Alvarado as the New Orleans players on the two-way deal, Excel Basketball agent James Dunleavy told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The 6-foot-8 Hommes was the 2019 NABC Division II Player of the Year. He went on to play in the G League for the Austin Spurs in 2019-20 before spending this past season with Italian club Vanoli Cremona.
After shooting 46% from three-point range in college, Hommes shot 33% from NAB distance in the G League. He averaged 16.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per outing in 28 games with Vanoli Cremona while making 42.7% from behind the arc.
Hommes is slated to split time between the Pelicans and their new G League affiliate in Birmingham this upcoming season. His ability to space the floor as a shooter will likely determine his NBA fate.
